Scammers are getting smarter, but so can you! Purdue Extension is teaming up with the Clark County Public Library to help residents recognize and prevent scams before they happen.

This free educational series will provide valuable insights into common fraud tactics, identity theft protection, and reporting suspicious activity. Attendees will learn real-world examples, key warning signs, and practical steps to safeguard their personal and financial information—whether online, over the phone, or in person.

Workshops will be held at the following library locations:

  • Borden Library: Monday, April 21, 5-6 PM

  • Sellersburg Library: Monday, April 28, 6-7 PM

  • Henryville Library: Tuesday, April 29, 6-7 PM

  • New Washington Library: Thursday, May 8, 6-7 PM

  • Charlestown Library: Monday, June 2, 6-7 PM

To register, visit the library's online calendar at www.clarkco.lib.in.us or call 812-256-3337.
