Scottsburg to host Haunted Downtown and Trunk-or-Treat on October 31

Scottsburg Main Street will host its annual Haunted Downtown and Trunk-or-Treat event on Thursday, October 31, from 6 to 8 p.m. Hundreds of kids in costumes will visit downtown businesses for safe Halloween fun.

Local businesses, churches, clubs, and organizations are invited to participate by setting up trick-or-treat stations or spooky trunk displays. To join, call the Scott County Visitors Commission at (812) 752-9211 to reserve a spot. A limited number of trunk-or-treat spaces are available, and a map of participants will be provided at the Haunted Train Depot that evening.

Participants are encouraged to decorate their booths or vehicles and bring enough candy for up to 2,000 trick-or-treaters.
