Lady Eagles Basketball Schedule

Okay Eagle fans, it is almost time for basketball. The Austin Lady Eagles are coached by Jared Petersen and he has a 296-197 overall record in 21 years. Last year, the Lady Eagles finished the season with a 20-4 record and lost the Brownstown Central in sectional play. The Eagles still have Brynn Owens as she will be a senior this year and will be looking to make a huge run. Here is what the schedule looks like for the Lady Eagles:

Scottsburg Warriorettes Basketball Schedule

Okay Warriorette fans, it is almost time for basketball. The Scottsburg Warriorettes are coached by Carrie Daniels as she has a 70-52 overall record in her five years at scottsburg. The Warrioretes finished last season with a 10-14 record and lost to Silver Creek in sectional play. The Warriorettes will have a very young team this upcoming season but they are very excited to get things going underway. Here is what the schedule looks like:

Borden Lady Braves Basketball Schedule

The Borden Lady Braves basketball team is set to begin there 2025-26 season on November 7 against Pekin. The Lady Braves had a historic season last year as they were state champions and they have a great chance to go back-to-back. The Lady Braves are coached by Matt Vick. Vick is 106-84 in his eight years at Borden. Here is what the 2025-26 schedule looks like:

Lady Braves Fall to Lady Senators

The Borden Lady Braves hosted the West Washington Lady Senators for a non-conference volleyball match up on Thursday, October 2. The Lady Braves lost the game in three sets with scores of 21-25, 23-25, and 18-25. McKenna Mullen had a team leading 17 kills and Mallory Thomas had seven. Mullen also led the team with 13 digs while Lily Lanham had 11.



Charlestown


Pirates Outlast Panthers

The Charlestown Pirates football team traveled to Corydon to take on the Panthers on Friday, October 3. The Panthers took an early 7-0 but the Pirates would score 13 points in the second quarter to take a 13-10 lead at halftime. The Panthers scored ten unanswered points in the third quarter to take a 20-13 lead to start the fourth quarter. The Pirates scored 14 in the fourth and the Panthers scored six and the Pirates won the game 27-26. Christian Grayson had 92 passing yards on eight complete passes. Javon Morris had a team leading 101 rushing yards while Aj Todd had 50.Noah Philips had 54 receiving yards and Boomer Hester had 20. Jayden Traub had a team leading 12 tackles to lead the defense.

Lady Warriors Defeat Lady Generals

The CAI Lady Warriors volleyball team hosted the Clarksville Lady Generals on Monday, October 6 for a non-conference volleyball match. The Lady Warriors won the match in just three sets with scores of 25-9. 25-10, and 25-12. Ella Peach led the Lady Warriors with 13 assists, ten aces, and three kills.


Lady Warriors Fall to Pekin

The CAI Lady Warriors volleyball team hosted the Eastern Pekin Lady Musketeers on Tuesday, October 7. The Lady Warriors lost the match in three sets with scores of 19-25, 19-25, and 20-25. Carly Stevens had 18 digs in the match which is her highest per-set average this season.

Lady Hornets Sting Lady Eagles

The Henryville Lady Hornets volleyball team hosted the Austin Lady Eagles on Thursday, October 2 for a non-conference match up. The Lady Hornets won the game in three sets with scores of 25-24, 25-15, and 25-21. Ella Logsdon had a team leading 11 kills while Emma Hargis had eight. Gracie Best led the team with seven digs and Gracie Biesel had four.

The Silver Creek Lady Dragons basketball team is set to start there 2025-26 season on November 8 at Lawrence North. The Lady Dragons are favored to be a solid team this year with Brooklyyn Renn and Emma Schoen leading the way for there senior year. The Lady Dragons are coached by Scott Schoen. Schoen as a 235-129 overall record in his 15 years at Silver Creek including a state title in 2020-21. The Lady Dragons had a 22-3 record last year and lost in the sectional final to Corydon Central.
