Charlestown Honors Banner Program to Return

The City of Charlestown's street pole banner program, Charlestown Honors, is returning to recognize active duty and veteran service members. The banners will line Market Street through Charlestown beginning in September, and run through mid-November.

Banners may be sponsored by individuals or businesses at a cost of $65 per banner, and all proceeds raised through the program will benefit purchasing American Flags to display in the city throughout the year. The cost includes the banner production and installation.

Those who participated in the program in previous years can rehang their banner if they choose for a $20 rehanging fee.

Application information can be found at CharlestownParks.com or by picking up a form at City Hall in Main Cross Street.
