The Skinny playing the next Scottsburg Summer Music on the Square

The rhythm of summer continues in Scottsburg with another exciting installment of Music on the Square. On Saturday, August 16 at 7 p.m., the featured performers will be The Skinny, a high-energy band hailing from Greenville, Indiana.

Formed in 2019 by Craig Foster and Braden Branham, The Skinny blends the best of classic rock and classic country with a twist of originality. Their sound is both nostalgic and fresh, offering a mix of crowd-pleasing covers and heartfelt originals.

Foster, who provides keyboard and vocals, and Branham, who handles guitar and vocals, are joined by Colin LaMure on bass and Brian Badgett on guitar. Together, they create a dynamic and soulful stage presence that has earned them a growing following across the region.

The band has released one EP and a full-length album titled “Play It Like You Wrote It,” available now on Spotify, YouTube, and other major music streaming platforms. They’re currently back in the studio working on their next album, which is expected to drop later this year.
