Children under the age of five and their families are invited to enjoy a series of engaging sessions featuring songs, stories, and crafts designed to foster early literacy and creativity. These Storyhour sessions are a great way for young children and caregivers to connect, learn, and explore together in a fun, welcoming environment
Children entering kindergarten through fifth grade can explore the world of creativity through the library's month-long Color Our World Art Workshops. Each week of June introduces a new artistic experience: Participants will learn to play the ukulele with Mrs. Rebecca Putman from Ensembles Music and Art Studio. Children will experience making art without the use of sight in a hands-on workshop led by the Kentucky Printing House for the Blind. Ms. Amy Kristin Carroll, an art teacher from Ensembles Music and Art Studio, will guide children through fun and expressive art projects.
Space is limited for both programs, and early registration is strongly encouraged.
