Spring Clean Up Week set for March 23-28 in Town of Sellersburg

Sellersburg residents will have the opportunity to dispose of large amounts of household trash during the Annual Spring Clean Week, which has been designated to occur from Monday, March 23 through Saturday, March 28. Dumpsters for the 2026 Spring Clean Up will be located at Clark County Transfer & Recycling, which is located at 5312 County Road 403 in Charlestown. Hours will be from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 7:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday.

The following items are not eligible for disposal at this time and will not be accepted:

--Any cleaning products, paints, or oils

--Batteries

--Asbestos

--Hazardous Materials

--Construction Debris (Includes drywall, decking, fence, concrete or asphalt)

--Refrigerators

--Televisions


High volumes of cardboard or recyclable materials should be taken to Clark County Recycling located at 112 Industrial Way in Charlestown.


Normal Domestic Trash should be put out with regular trash pick-up as dumpsters are intended to assist residents to dispose of larger items.


Proof of residency is required: Driver’s License/ID and matching Town of Sellersburg Utility Bill showing Sanitation Service. This service is only available to those residents who have Town of Sellersburg trash collection.


Yard waste may also be disposed at the same location at no cost for Town of Sellersburg residents during this event.
