
Little Miss, Little Master, Scott County Teen, and Fair Queen Set for June Crowning

The 2025 Scott County Fair will showcase four pageant titles this summer, with the addition of a new Scott County Teen category joining the traditional Fair Queen, Little Miss, and Little Master competitions.
Publicity photos for the youngest contestants—Little Miss and Little Master—will be taken Wednesday, June 4th at 5:30 p.m. at the Scott County Heritage Center and Museum, 1050 South Main Street in Scottsburg. Children must be Scott County residents between the ages of 4 to 7. A $10 entry fee, payable by cash or money order, is due at the photo session.
Miss Teen Scott County contestants will have their photos taken the same day at 6 p.m. Contestants must be between 13 and 16 years old. The entry fee for this division is $20.
Also, at 6 p.m., Miss Scott County Fair Queen contestants will have their photos taken with 2024 reigning Queen Aubrey Couch. Candidates must be Scott County residents, at least 18 but not over 21 by January 1, 2026, or 17 with a birthday before that date. All participants must have a sponsor, attend a dance practice, and be present for interviews, the fair parade, and the pageant on Sunday, June 22nd.
The pageant schedule kicks off at 5:30 p.m. on June 22nd at McClain Hall, starting with the Little Miss and Little Master competition, followed by the Teen and Queen pageants.
Registration forms can be picked up at the Scottsburg, Austin, and Lexington Libraries, Marty’s House of Flowers in Austin, Burris Electric, and the Scott County Herald /Amos Publishing, LLC office.
The entry deadline for the Fair Queen category is Wednesday, June 4th, along with the $75 entry fee.
