On April the 12th the Lady Lions softball team welcomed in county rival the West Washington Lady Senators for a softball game.

The Lady Senators were the first to score when they got two runs across in the top of the third. The Lady Lions battled back to tie the game at three after seven innings. It was the Lady Senators who broke the tie in the top of the eighth to take the 4-3 win.

The Lady Lions out hit the Lady Senators 11-7 with Adison Feist, Natalee Boutelle, Harley Walters, and Rachel Little each have multiple hits. Adison Feist manned the circle for the Lady Lions and recorded six strikeouts.

On April 14th they got back in the win column when they welcomed in South Central. It was a game that featured plenty of offense as there were a total of 22 runs put up between both teams. Trailing 3-1 after the first the Lady Lions put up seven runs in the bottom of the second blowing the game wide open.

They would pull ahead to a 12-6 lead going into the sixth inning. South Central was able to make it interesting in the top of the seventh as they put up four runs to cut the Lady Lion lead to just two.

They wouldn’t be able to close the gap all the way as the Lady Lions held on for a 12-10 victory. Jenna Little earned the win for the Lady Lions.
