The Crothersville Tigers hosted the Austin Eagles on Monday, November 24, for an exciting matchup, especially after last year's thriller at Austin. The Eagles opened up the game on an 8-0 run, but Crothersville had an 8-0 run of their own to tie the game. The Eagles led 15-12 after the first quarter. The rest of the game was dominated by the Eagles, who took a 28-18 lead and basically sealed the game from there, leading 37-20 at halftime. The Tigers struggled to generate any offense, as the length and athleticism were just too much for them to handle. They were outscored 32-15 in the third quarter, and the Eagles won the game 88-48. Micha Mohler led all scorers with 26 points. Tymir Cromwell led the Tigers with 11. Here is what Austin head coach Brent Jameson said after the game: “I am proud of our guys. This was my first time playing/coaching here, and it was definitely a wild environment. They play a style that is tough to prepare for, and I thought our guys kept their composure, which I was proud of. Secondly, we had 31 made field goals off of 24 assists. So, we shared the ball well, especially in that second half.” We challenged our guys at halftime. I think we forced a few shots in the first half. So, I told the guys to move it more and find the open shot.

Here is the rest of the scoring for the Eagles:

Kayden White - 9, Braxton Barger - 10, Hayden Hurt - 5, Tracen Roush - 20, Kallen Boswell - 3, Tyler Collins - 4, Cason Swank - 2, and Carter Hunley - 12.

Here is the rest of the scoring for the Tigers:

Carter Jones - 8, Travis Gutowski - 2, Ty Hilton - 2, Koby Davis - 5, Kayleb Lauderbaugh - 6, Kolton Blevins - 2, and Kaleb Moeller -2.
