Bradie Shrum Elementary kindergarten registration information

Bradie Shrum Elementary is hosting kindergarten registration.

Students must be 5 by Aug. 1, 2025 in order to enroll.

Registration will be held Thursday, April 3 with appointments between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Grown-ups should go to www.salemschools.com to register and a staff member will reach out to schedule a time to bring the child in on April 3 to finish registration.

On that day registration will take place in the elementary safe room with parents and soon-to-be kindergarten student. This will be an opportunity to finish paperwork and for the student to meet with kindergarten teachers.

The following documents are need for registration: Health department issued birth certificate; immunization record and a driver’s license or state issued identification card for parent or guardian.

One of the following will also be needed for proof of address: utility bill dated within 60 days; current tax return within 60 days of the registration; current mortgage statement/rental or lease agreement dated within 60 days of registration.
