Backyard Classics Cruise-In and Music in the Park set for August 8 on Charlestown City Square

Charlestown’s City Square will come alive with classic cars, live music, and delicious eats on Friday, August 8, 2025, as the Backyard Classics Car Club hosts its monthly Cruise-In alongside the city's popular Music in the Park event.

The evening kicks off at 5:00 p.m. when car enthusiasts roll into the Square to showcase all makes and models of vintage and specialty vehicles. The event is free and open to the public, whether you’re cruising in or just coming to admire the view.

At 6:00 p.m., the stage will light up with the high-energy, honky tonk swing sounds of the Solid Rock’it Boosters, creating the perfect soundtrack for a summer night. Visitors can also enjoy a variety of local flavors from food trucks, including BBQ Paradise, Acme Chicken Bowls, and Yello Sno.

Both events take place on the Charlestown City Square, located at Main and Main Cross Streets. Admission is free, and everyone is welcome to come out, relax, and enjoy a fun night of cars, music, and food under the summer sky.
