The rumble of engines and the gleam of polished chrome will meet compassion on Saturday, September 20, when Love’s Travel Stop in Memphis, Indiana, hosts a fundraising car show to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network.

Registration runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a $20 entry fee. The first 50 registrants will receive a dash plaque as a keepsake, and dozens of trophies and awards will be handed out beginning at 2:30 p.m. Categories include Best Ford, Best Chevy, Best Mopar, Best Foreign, Best New Car, Best Classic Car, Best Truck, and Best Rat Rod. Specialty awards will also recognize Best Engine, Best Paint, Best Interior, Best Mustang, Best Camaro, and a “Top 5” selection. Adding a personal touch, Love’s employees will select a Travel Stop Choice Award.\

Beyond the competition, participants can look forward to door prizes—including tools and other giveaways—adding to the fun atmosphere.

While the event promises friendly rivalry and plenty of car-lover pride, organizers emphasize that the true purpose is to raise money for children in need. Every dollar collected will go directly to the Children’s Miracle Network, supporting lifesaving treatment and care for young patients and their families.

Car owners and enthusiasts from across the region are encouraged to attend, enjoy the sights, and support a cause that makes a difference. Whether you come to show off your ride or simply admire the variety—from muscle cars to rat rods—you’ll be part of something bigger: helping children receive the medical care they deserve.
